I’ve never really tasted a cream puff that I actually liked. So I decided to try my hand at making them myself. Someone has become such a food snob!
Guess who now likes cream puffs! They were a little misshapen and next time I will take more care in forming them (and lay a few eclairs while I’m at it) so they will be purdier. For my first time, though, I am well pleased. I macerated some strawberries, made a lemon French pastry cream, and whipped up some ganache and threw together the beauties you see below. I’m in love!
